You may have seen my recent recipe for homemade peanut butter cups. They were eaten up so fast in this house… that I had to make more! But I wanted to try something a little different so I went with white chocolate on the outside and Butterfinger filling on the inside. Yum!
I had these cute silicone cupcake / muffin liners that I decided to use, but you could use paper liners just the same. Melted down the white chocolate and coated the cups. Once the chocolate set, put a nice portion of Butterfinger filling in each one. Finally, top with more melted chocolate to cover the filling.
I let them sit in the freezer overnight since I made them later in the evening. The next day I popped them out of the liners. I love the shape the liners gave the sides.

And some with sprinkles!
They really do taste like the Butterfinger candy bar. So if you are a fan, you just might want to give this a try. As my husband said (after trying one), ‘they are just a little bit awesome’. Lol.
