Cheesecake Puppy Chow~Guest post by: Simply Sweet Home~

Hi everyone! I’m Jerri from the blog Simply Sweet Home. I’m very excited to be here today and want to thank Amber for giving me the chance to be a part of the Christmas Cavalcade!
My blog covers a wide range of topics for homemakers including recipes, products reviews, giveaways, and just about anything fun and creative. I also host a linky party called Friday Favorites, which is open to any and all recipes and projects! And when I’m not blogging, I sell jewelry in my etsy shop.

I’m sure everyone has had puppy chows or muddies during the holiday season. Today I’ve got a fun and sweet new take on this recipe to share with you: Cheesecake Puppy Chow.

Recipe for Cheesecake Puppy Chow Ingredients:

9 Cups Kellogg’s Crispix Cereal (or Chex if you prefer)
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar

1. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave. Stop every 10 to 15 seconds to prevent scorching and ensure even heating throughout. (You can also use a double boiler on low heat, if you prefer.)

2. Add softened cream cheese and mix until smooth. (You may want to heat the cream cheese to be sure that it goes in nice and smooth.)

3. Add cereal a little at a time and stir until coated.

4. Pour powdered sugar into large zipper bag. Add coated cereal and shake until well coated. Store in airtight container.

Thanks again to Amber for having me over today! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Joy & Blessings in the New Year! Visit Simply Sweet Home and Simply Sweet Creations.
